Tiger, Tiger, burning bright ...........

TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?

The birth of Tiger Lilies ..............

Legend has it that an old Korean wise-man turned hermit helped a wounded tiger by pulling out an arrow that was impaled in it's body.
At the tiger’s request, the hermit used his powers to perpetuate their friendship after death.
Later, when the tiger died, his body became a beautiful Tiger Lily. Eventually the hermit drowned and his body was washed away never to be seen again.

That is why the Tiger Lily has spread everywhere searching for it's friend.

There is a superstition that if you smell a Tiger Lily, you will be blessed with {or plagued with} freckles.

White Tiger, fur like powdery snow .............

White Tiger, fur like powdery snow.

Eyes of sky, nose of rose,
fur like powdery snow.

Glistening teeth, sharpened claws,
These weapons are not for show.

Stalking your prey, graceful yet fierce,
Holding your tail like ice.

More cunning than a fox, swift as a hawk,
Your enemies need to think twice.

Stripes of raven, nature so calm,
Who can compare to such beauty?

'Claws Out' ready for the kill!

Tiger, Tiger
Samtec Tiger ready for the kill!

Tiger, Tiger

Flying Tiger
Watch Out! there is a tiger about to give you 'low-fives'

Big Brown Eyes, don't take them for granted!

Salvador Dali, Edvard Munch - my heroes
with my feelings written in Braille and Moon alphabet

~
Two years ago an eye problem prompted me to pick up my paint box and brushes after a forty year break. This is a "use-it or lose-it" thing! I've had no formal art training, although Miss Fry, my Kindergarten Teacher did give me a "gold star" for a drawing of a horse I did when I was five! Since then, I have drawn cheques on my bank (but most of those bounced) and I have drawn breath! And my wife says that I can draw the curtains, but I must be very careful not to cause any damage - or it's curtains for me!

Flying Tiger ........

A common wasp say you,
no no no say I,

I am the fighter tiger of the sky.

I'm a wasp live with my big, big family
Some may look upon us as a major calamity.
But we throw open our nest with prodigality,
For all to see our stinging "waspitality. "
